Our Homestay Program offers international students an opportunity to learn English and experience Canadian culture while residing with a local family. Families are carefully chosen by our Student Services Coordinator and then matched to the student’s requests. Host Families come in all shapes and sizes and represent the diversity of the Gulf Island’s culture.

Our families include: working parents, couples without children, singles and single parents, adoptive parents and empty nesters. We look for host families who are warm and welcoming, eager to include the student in their family and the community, and interested in learning about other cultures.
